The REACH collection is comprised of interactive, self-paced lessons for both Kindergarten and First Grade.  Each lesson includes videos, interactives, games, additional reading and extension activities. The lessons can be used sequentially, assigned by teachers starting at the beginning of the school year to provide additional practice with reading at home. Each lesson is designed to last approximately two weeks but may be used in a variety of ways and in a variety of settings, including in after-school and summer programs, to give every child an opportunity to enjoy reading and improve their skills.

The lessons were developed by a team of reading specialists and classroom teachers from the three partnering school districts, in partnership with ThinkTV, PBS LearningMedia, and other PBS affiliates.
